We’ve made a couple small updates to the widget to bring us to version 1.1

• The widget will now only display calendar download posts to keep it a little lighter
• Some small style changes will ensure everyone see’s what they are suppose to

You can still download it from the same post here. Apple, Softpedia, and other sites will be updated shortly with this new version as well.

Just download, extract, then double click the icon to install. If it asks you to “replace” your current widget, choose “Yes”.

The tumbleCal widget is now available from two other trusted sources!

You can download the widget from Apple itself (cool right?), or Softpedia!

Do you love tumbleCal, but hate opening a browser to see it? No way me too! Well our worries are over, because now tumbleCal comes in an easy to use widget form!

Now you can see a mini version of tumbleCal and download the calendars right from your Mac Dashboard.

This is version 1.2

On July 31st we’ll be releasing our guest submissions! You’ll have an opportunity to see what our other users have done! So please, if you want to submit a calendar design, do so by then. You can view the rules and submit here.

Our staff calendars will be released on August 1st.

So I promised right? Well now we accept submissions using Tumblr’s new submit form. You can access it from the sidebar or go to tumblecal.com/submit.

There are very specific instructions that you must follow in order for this to work, so please read them on the submission page!

Hey guys,

So this month was / is going to be a big one. We want to thank everyone for their continued support of tumbleCal! I’m also here to make a couple of announcements.

Next month be prepared for desktop calendars. You wanted them, we’re gonna make them. Also we plan on having a formal submission application ready so you can submit calendars to be included in our releases. I’m also dreaming up some other big stuff, but that’s all I can share for now!
